Banh Mi at Marrickville Pork Roll

I finally made it to Marrickville Pork Roll, to try their famous Banh Mi. I have heard so much about this place but have never had the opportunity to go there for lunch,  but as I have had a day off,  and at a suggestion from a friend, we all jumped in the car and headed through the Inner West to Marrickville.  When we arrived, I was shocked to find this tiny hole in the wall shop, with a hot and cold cabinet mounded with fresh vegetables, steaming hot meatballs, pork and chicken. I opted for the Banh mi Nem Nuong-BBQ Pork Roll, the roll was soft with a slightly crisp flakey crust, that was stuffed with all the usual salad suspects, a type of pate, roast pork and a fresh spicy tangy sauce, of course I opted for the ‘with chilli’ option as I love heat! Wow, delicious and so filling I could barely finish and all for only $4.50!!!!!! What!!! Next time you are in Marrickville, you have to track this place down! Fabulous street food,at it’s best!
